Let’s face it: everyone has dabbled in the art of procrastination at some point in their lives. With the new year just past, it might be time to try and put a stop to that habit. Caroline Buchanan, a journalist and author of The 15-Minute Rule — How to Stop Procrastinating and Take Control of your Life, believes that her 15-minute rule is “nothing short of life-changing.” She suggests setting a timer for 15-minutes and doing only your task until the timer is up. “When you do that 15 minutes, it’s like a real safe time frame, and you feel contained, and you’re free to let your imagination run away with you, and you don’t have to censor yourself,” Buchanan told the audience during her TedTalk. “I suggest you do three lots of 15 minutes over a three day period.” Read more about Buchanan’s tips in LifeHacker’s article here.
